A NEW LIFE

These photographs mean more to me than they do to them, or at least I feel that way. I have been wanting for so long to capture in a more true sense the intimate spaces a couple traces in their own house and express how each space feels through color.

Having just remodeled the house they asked me if I wanted to wait a bit longer for the house to be with all the furniture and decoration, I quickly answered “No!” I want it to be exactly as it is. For me that was very important, in a way their house resembles how they are as a couple, new and changing for their new baby to arrive, so much has yet be filled with laughter, memories, fights and more.

Also, the human pregnant body, which is one of the most important stages a woman faces and to truly portray that was very significative.

I am in complete gratitude for meeting them and letting them be so open about it and just wanting me to really document their new life before the most important journey begins, their daughter.
